And The Road Ran Out where The Sea Rose Up

To Sands as White as a Porcelain Cup,

Where The Sun held back it’s Dimming Fall

And the Owl So Wise With-Held Its Call

 

Where Gently your Hand Slipped to Mine

We drank our fill of Timeless Time,

And in those Moments Came to Know

All that Comes Some Day must Go

 

While Here, our Days Seem Darkly Filled

I Feel the Light of Time that Spilled,

From Moments Shared While in That Place

I See its Light Shine in your face
